Whilst trekking around the wilderness learning the ins and outs of CakePHP I have compiled a list of helpful CakePHP related sites that have gotten me through some tough times. After spending so much time finding these resources I thought that I would compile them into a list and publish them. 1. Official CakePHP website: The number one source for CakePHP manuals, blogs, API’s, articles and tutorials. 2. Donutczar.com: Great information and examples on Helpers in CakePHP 1.2, a really good source for people who want a hand’s on and visual explanation. 3....

That’s right, as if losing to Newcastle in such a controversial way wasn’t enough, the FFA has laid down a 15 month ban (9 months + 6 month probation) to Mariners Goal Keeper Danny Vokovic. What started as an appeal to a deliberate hand ball by James Holland soon turned into a heated debate between both teams and the referee (Mark Shields). Danny, for whatever reason appeared to “high five” the ref and then run off the field as he knew the red card was coming. It turns out today that the FFA have decided to throw the book at Vokovic...

You read right, the Mighty Mariners have lost the 2008 A-League grand final. Unfortunatly they didn’t play strongly at all, with the sloppy passing and terrible shooting we fell to the scummy jets 1-0. The ref managed to not only miss some obvious fouls but also got in the way of play and in general didn’t help our cause. So what now? Well we are the only team to make it to two grand finals and also the only team to lose two grand finals. That being said, we have had a great season and I look forward to the 2008-09 season and the Mariners going...

Hello, My name is Dean and I am a Marinerholic… If you don’t know who the Central Coast Mariners are then I will give you a quick intro, the Mariners are a football (aka. Soccer) team located on NSW’s sunny Central Coast. They play in the Australian Hyundai A-League and have so far won one Minor Premiership and have been the only club to make it to the Grand Final twice (2005-06 Season and 2007-08 Season). Their home ground is Bluetongue Central Coast Stadium, with Bluetongue Brewery as a major sponsor. The 2005-06 Season was the first for...
