You read right, the Mighty Mariners have lost the 2008 A-League grand final.

Unfortunatly they didn’t play strongly at all, with the sloppy passing and terrible shooting we fell to the scummy jets 1-0.

The ref managed to not only miss some obvious fouls but also got in the way of play and in general didn’t help our cause.

So what now? Well we are the only team to make it to two grand finals and also the only team to lose two grand finals. That being said, we have had a great season and I look forward to the 2008-09 season and the Mariners going all the way again!
