Hey Everyone,
Sorry about the lack of updates over the past few weeks, I have been flat out getting some projects done so my blog has had to take a back seat.
But never fear the tutorials will still continue to come and you may even see an app or two of mine released on the App Store.
As most of you know Apple had announced iPhone Tech Talks all across the world but only with limited spots available (especially in Australia), but alas I have managed to get into the Sydney one and I will be there with bells on (metaphorical bells of course).
Hopefully I will be able to write some articles about the Talk and I will be able to pass as much information as possible to those people that cannot make the day.
If anyone else is heading to the Sydney Tech Talk just drop me a line and we can catch up for a beer and talk iPhone!
Have a great day and stay tuned for some updates soon.

Hi Dean,
Hope you soak up the goodness at the Sydney talk. I managed to get a seat at the Melbourne one so I’m also getting the bells ready
I’d just like to say thanks for your advanced blog tutorial, it really helped kickstart my brain for iPhone development.
All the best,
Josh
Hey Josh,
Should be a good day, if nothing comes from it then it will still be a great networking event. But knowing Apple it should be a good learning experience.
Good to hear that I gave someones brain a kickstart, there are alot of great concepts that could be implemented on the iPhone hardware…It’s just a matter of time!
Have fun at the Melbourne Conference!
Dean
Nice work on getting in! I’ll look forward to reading your coverage on the event. What are your apps called that are on the app store?
Chris
Hey Chris,
Thanks, it will be a great chance to network and get some more contacts in the industry. We dont have any apps on the store as we have mainly been developing for companies for internal use.
We do have a couple of apps in progress for the App Store which should be released in the new year.

Hi guys!
Chris, did you end up going to the iPhone Tech Talk? We’ve got one in Stockholm here in Sweden tomorrow morning, and Im still undecided wether I should go or not. Problem is it’s a 5+ hour drive from where I live which will mean I wont get any sleep at all. And a tired, grumpy Daniel wont be doing much networking, and probably not much learning either..
But I guess they’ll have a Starbucks near by
Would you say it’s worth it? I mean, do you actually end up learning a lot, or is it mostly an intro-seminarium?
